Jenny Buhr

Jenny Buhr

Co‑Founder

Jenny Buhr is the CEO of German African Cooperation gGmbH, bringing nearly a decade of experience in development projects and humanitarian activities. With a strong background in project management, she has successfully led numerous initiatives aimed at empowering communities. As a dedicated treasurer for over a decade, Jenny has honed her skills in grant writing and fundraising, enabling the organization to secure vital resources for impactful projects. Her leadership and strategic vision drive GAC's mission, ensuring that sustainable development remains at the forefront of all activities. Jenny is also a member of the Diaspora Advisory Board (DAB) established to providing strategic advice to MEG-GIZ and BMZ. Jenny is passionate about making a lasting difference in communities and in the lives of those in need.

Tomas Buhr

Tomas Buhr

Founder

Tomas Buhr serves as Co-CEO of German African Cooperation gGmbH, where he works closely with the team to enhance organizational effectiveness. With nearly a decade of experience as a patron in various humanitarian NGOs, and a philanthropist, Tomas has been instrumental in funding impactful projects, including the Kai Blessed Farmers Project, which he has funded for four years. He provides own share to small organizations to complete fundings from the state. His commitment to driving positive change in communities reflects his dedication to sustainable development. Tomas is passionate about empowering individuals and fostering collaboration, ensuring that every initiative contributes to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Jamie-Lee Tausch-Buhr

Assistant Co‑Founder

Jamie-Lee is an assistance Executive Director at J&T German African Cooperation gGmbH, where she oversees day-to-day operations and ensures that all projects align with the organization's mission and values. With a background in design and a passion for nurturing young talent, Jamie-Lee brings creativity and innovation to our initiatives. Her kind heart and dedication to community empowerment drive her efforts in creating impactful programs. As assistant Executive Director, she focuses on strategic planning and team leadership, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and sustainability in all our projects. Jamie-Lee is committed to making a positive difference in every community we serve.

Jude Akum

Jude Akum

Project Manager, Global South — Agricultural Development Expert

Jude Akum serves as the Project Manager for J&T German African Cooperation (JTGAC) projects in the Global South. As an agricultural development expert, he plays a key role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of our development initiatives. Working closely with our local partners and the JTGAC Cameroon Team, Jude ensures that projects are implemented efficiently and in full compliance with JTGAC's standards for accountability, transparency, and documentation. His commitment to quality and integrity helps ensure that every project delivers meaningful and sustainable impact. As the primary liaison between the JTGAC Management Team in Germany and our implementing partners in Africa, Jude facilitates clear, professional, and effective communication, strengthening collaboration between the Global North and the Global South. In addition to his coordination role, Jude conducts regular monitoring and quality assurance activities. By maintaining direct contact with beneficiaries, he helps verify that project objectives are achieved, resources reach those most in need, and beneficiaries receive the support intended. His work contributes significantly to JTGAC's commitment to responsible project management and lasting positive change.

Mercy Ndang

Project Coordinator & Advisory

Mercy serves as advisory at J&T German African Cooperation gGmbH. As a representative of the organization, she advices and provides guidance and support, ensuring that the volunteers, beneficiaries and community members are empowered and engaged.

Rodney Besong

Project Coordinator

Rodney serves as the Project Coordinator for the Sunshine Kids Project in Cameroon. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Management and brings strong expertise in operational strategy, financial management, corporate administration, and community development. Rodney is passionate about using his skills to create sustainable opportunities and provide holistic support for vulnerable children through the Sunshine Kids Program.

Sheron Akwen Teboh

Sheron Akwen Teboh

Volunteer & She‑Leads Program Participant

Sheron is a dedicated volunteer with J&T German African Cooperation gGmbH (JTGAC) and a participant in our She-Leads Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. At JTGAC, Sheron is being mentored and equipped to take on increasing responsibilities within the Finance Management Team. She supports financial administration and contributes to strengthening the organization's accountability and operational effectiveness.

Wiltonnette Anam

She‑Leads Program Participant — Gender Equality & Project Management

Wiltonnette dedicated volunteer with J&T German African Cooperation gGmbH (JTGAC) and a participant in our She-Leads Program. Through the She Leads program Wiltonnette received a scholarship to carry out her master`s program at the Pan African Institute in Bamenda Came- roon. Her point of focus is Gender equality and Project management.

Volunteer & She‑Leads Program Participant

Leonarda Shey is a dedicated volunteer with J&T German African Cooperation gGmbH (JTGAC) and a participant in our She-Leads Program. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery from the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. As the Coordinator of the Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Campaign (MHAC), Leonarda plays a key role in promoting menstrual health education and empowering girls and young women through awareness-raising and capacity-building initiatives.

Volunteer, Social Media Administrator & She‑Leads Program Participant

Emilie Ayuk Tataw is a dedicated volunteer with J&T German African Cooperation gGmbH (JTGAC) and a participant in our She-Leads Program. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Committed to continuous learning and professional growth, Emilie is currently pursuing an online Master's Programme in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid through the Kalu Institute, Spain, sponsored by JTGAC.
