Agricultural Projects

GAC believes sustainable agriculture is vital for the future. Our initiatives include the Kaiblessed Farmers Project and the Njimbi Widows Farming Project, which empower local farmers and enhance food security in their communities.

Kai Blessed Farmers (KBF) is a common initiative group established in 2020 and officially registered in 2021. Comprising 20 members 13 women and 7 men from the villages of Kai, Zang-Tabi, and Toneku, KBF is based in Kai village,Mbengwi Subdivision, Momo Division, Cameroon. The group aims to enhance livelihoods, increase local food supply, reduce hunger, improve nutrition, and boost income. KBF cultivates yams, cassava, and maize, while also rearing pigs and poultry. Through the support of GAC, members have received training in poultry and pig keeping, composting, and marketing techniques, empowering them to achieve their objectives.

The Njimbi Agropastoral Widows Farmer Project, based in Bafut, Northwest Region, is a common initiative group dedicated to empowering widows through sustainable agriculture. The group focuses on cultivating ginger and pepper, along with poultry farming, to combat hunger and increase income. By enhancing food production and providing economic opportunities, Njimbi Windows aims to reduce poverty and promote gender equality within the community. Through training and support, this project not only improves the livelihoods of its members but also fosters resilience and self-sufficiency, enabling widows to thrive and contribute positively to their families and society.
